In this role the buyer could be working on a single product range looking to source, construct and analyse a range of products in order to maximise sales and profits. The role would involve contributing to the buying strategy, attending supplier meetings, trade shows and negotiating with suppliers. A good commercial awareness, organisation skills and product knowledge of the industry are important. This role can also be known as a Junior Buyer.
