Assembly of your Banner Unit

Your roller banner can have a happy and long life if you carefully follow these instructions with regard to assembly at your event. We have provided here a couple of demonstration videos so you know exactly what you will need to do.  

IMPORTANT -Please  DO NOT insert the pole into the rail first, as over extending the artwork can damage the mechanism. Pole should be placed into the cassette first then artwork rail lifted up over the pole using least extension as possible. Lean back the unit as per video.

Instructions
To avoid damage to the artwork, the poles should be correctly inserted into the unit prior to raising of the artwork.( See video) All artwork should be lifted slowly and vertically out of the unit holding the rail, until the height at which it can be attached to the poles. Do not extend the artwork higher than this. Watch the sides of the artwork against the end of the cassette to ensure no abrasion occurs whilst the material is extended. After use, please take care in dropping the unit back into the cassette as carefully as possible ensuring the material does not catch the sides as it descends into the casing. The unit will be in tension whilst lowering it so make sure you guide the artwork material back carefully into its holder making sure that the artwork does not touch either sides of the cassette. 

Does and Don'ts

• Please don't ask a student to put up the unit, this will void your warranty as we cannot guarantee the correct assembly and care of the unit.
• Please don't hold the fitting position on top of the rail to raise the unit, hold the rails sides. 
• Please do contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your unit. 
• Please do watch this simple video which shows the assembly for both types of units. 
• Please do read the assembly instructions inside the bag and use the bag for safe storage of your banner. 
• If you do all this, you should fine the unit will last several years.

Warranty
Your 1 year warranty is on any defect in the unit or mechanical failure in the cassette but does not cover damage or wear and tear from assembly and use from the date of delivery.
Please note we do not guarantee the warranty if the unit has been assembled by students.
We reserve the right to determine whether the unit is clearly a mechanical failure and subject to warranty or is a failure due to wear and tear. If the unit fails under its warranty period and we can concur that is the case, we will replace the unit without charge.
