CCTV drainage Engineer

Job Description

CCTV engineers use instant imaging to generate a detailed report of the defective areas of a pipe. From this inspection they can determine what needs to be done to solve the problem. Engineers then prepare quotes for customers on remedial work that needs doing. Companies may have contracts with large utility services or offer their services to domestic customers.  Engineers in this industry may get involved in section repair, no dig technology repairs, minor excavations, inspecting culverts or emergency sewer repairs and may undertake high pressure water jetting.  This role may be entered as a trainee drainage operative.  Also known as drainage operative or sewerage operative.
