Construction Supervisor
Job Description
Construction Supervisors work on a variety of construction projects managing teams. The role can be varied and involve onsite supervision and ensuring induction of all staff and subcontractors, arranging for deliveries of materials, technical support to the construction team on installation, liaising with construction managers and ensuring work deadline are on target and to the required standard. Supervisors also called construction foreman are usually experienced in a particular aspect of construction. Supervisors can work as finishing foremen (also called ganger) managing a team dealing with any snags or issues after a construction project has been completed. They may have site responsibilities or lead on groundworks and infrastructure. The role can be freelance or employed.
