Day care Centre Manager
Day Care Centre Managers provide services for the elderly , those with disabilities or mental health needs. This role involves the management of the day centre, its activities and the staff. The role may involve managing funds, resources, reviewing procedures, staff performance, coordinating the daily programme and training volunteers. At managerial level this role would require background in social work, social science or other management qualification within the social care profession. Opportunities exist with community organisations, charities, local authorities and residential care homes. This role is also known as Day Services Manager or Day Centre Manager
