Director of Sports

Job Description

This is a senior management role within an educational setting with responsibility for managing the full programme of sport. The role in a higher education setting may involve setting budgets, recruiting and leading a team of coaches and ground staff, managing facilities and arranging the sporting program. This role in a private school may have a more hands on responsibility for these areas.  This role in the USA is known as an Athletic Director.
