If you have an interest in fashion and have the ability to write creatively then a career in fashion journalism may be for you.  Fashion journalists are able to spot latest trends, have strong knowledge of the industry, designers and be able to analyse, critique, interview, write reports and network within the industry.  fashion journalists have to write articles for fashion magazines, blogs, websites, lifestyle sections of newspapers and can be employed by media departments of fashion houses, newspapers or work freelance.  A degree in English, Journalism or Fashion may be essential as well as developing a portfolio of work through submitting articles or developing a fashion blog.. gaining work experience in the industry through an internship  will enhance your career prospects. The generic guide on working in Journalism would be an appropriate place to start. There are short courses exist on entering this career such as from the London school of Journalism.
