Interfaith Schools Officer

Job Description

This role involves setting up educational programmes in schools to help students understand other faiths. The goal is to raise understanding and awareness of different cultures and beliefs through a range of workshops, activities with students.  The role may involve training volunteers, coordinating activities, liaising with schools and RE departments, arranging visiting speakers. Jobs may be found with charities, school partnerships or faith foundations. The role may require a professional with a teaching qualification or equivalent professional experience. Other jobs in this sector may exist in policy development, research and administration.
