Investigations Officer

Job Description

Working in a major incident room or on small case this role involves interviewing witnesses, obtaining statements, compiling reports and assisting in preparing papers for prosecution. Prior experience in detective work within a force setting is usually preferred. These roles tend to be contract based.  Other investigative jobs exist within insurance, banking, regulatory bodies, local authority and private detective work.
