Kit Manager
Job Description
if you could feel a sense of pride in seeing your team turn out in perfect kit and prepared for their fixture whether it be at junior elite or senior level then may be a role as a kit manager may be for you. You will need to prepare kit for match days and training events for the football club that employs you. You work will involve ensuring the kit is cleaned and prepared, stock levels are correct and to reorder where necessary the correct sizes and quantities. As an important backroom staff member you will need to attend team meetings and be able to communicate with others with regard to any issues in your department. You will need to be organised, and have responsibility for looking after the laundry room, boot room ensuring kit is folded neatly and correctly and the rooms are kept clean. Kit managers need to have good time management, able to meet deadlines, be organised, be motivated towards their job, show initiative where it matters and have enthusiasm for their club. You will need DRB clearance if the role involves working with young people. To be a kit manager you may need experience as an Assistant Kit manager in a previous role or some other experience in hospitality or laundry services.
