Reservation Consultant

Reservation Consultants are travel agents who advise and take bookings on particular travel products.  The role involves taking enquiries from customer via phone or email, checking availability on particular packages, taking bookings and deposits from customers, up-selling on particular additional travel products. The role will involve advising customers with regard to travel arrangements and updating them on any changes with regard to their travel package. They can work for travel agency or a tour operator. You could be working from home, in office or call centre depending on the company.  For this role you need good organisational skills, excellent customer service, a passion for travel with a good knowledge of travel destinations and good communication skills. Travel agents need to have good understanding of GDS systems such as Galileo
