Scaffold Engineer
Job Description
These civil engineers design scaffolding structures to support construction work on a variety of projects. The role involves surveying the site, attending design meetings, working on CAD systems, undertaking design calculations and risk assessments, having expertise in tubular structures. Entrance into this field usually requires a degree in civil engineering. The alternative route is working for a company in scaffold design and qualifying towards a Higher national qualification in engineering prior to degree study.
