Job Description
This work tends to be in large corporations where SI advisers look for sponsorship opportunities and or fund community projects. This funding is intended to sustain the companies reputation and enhance its public relations with the wider community in line with their ethos. They role involves managing the social investment budget, creating the strategy and writing reports on funding processes and its impact. They may identify and evaluate opportunities as well as analyse returns to the company from its investments. The work may also involve communicating and liaising with staff around the projects. SIA’s can work alongside NGO’s, governments departments, their own public relations people and be lead by a social investment manager.
