Solar PV Electrician

Job Description

Working in the renewable sector these electricians work on domestic or commercial roofs to install photovoltaic modules, inverters, meters and protection system.  PV Electricians commission and test the systems once installed and require accreditation to work in this industry. PV electricians work in teams with roofers, installers mates, scaffolders and can work in small businesses or on large contracts.  In smaller businesses PV electricians may been involved in site surveyor, preparing quotes, design of PV systems and project management.
