Sports Surface Scientist

Job Description

Surface specialists in turf research and design for a variety of surfaces such as golf, football and  tennis. They may work on the development of natural or artificial surfaces.  Individuals may work for consultancy companies, as turf managers or specialist green keepers. Degrees exist in sports surface and turf management, other science degrees in ecology, soil science may be useful.
