Visitor Services Assistant
Job Description
A visitor services assistant provides information and advice to the general public wanting to make use of a recreational area such as a national park, forestry visitor centre or other cultural venues. In the countryside staff may advise about walks, weather conditions, how to plan their stay. They will give guidance on on local attractions, places to visit and may sell tourist products. This is a customer service role and requires good communication skills and ability to deal with a range of people.
