Wind Tunnel Technician
Job Description
These technicians are employed to install and run testing equipment on engineering products. They have a responsibility for managing the operations of the wind tunnel, checking equipment, data analysis on results, implementing improvement programmes of instrumentation and acquiring data. The role involves pretesting of models and quality checking prior formal test runs. In general candidates need to have either an advance apprenticeship in laboratory testing or engineering degree background with laboratory experience.
