Workshop Coordinator
Job Description
Workshop coordinators help to plan, organise training events, short courses and taster sessions for students of musical theatre. The role may be an active one in recruiting participants, marketing the course and meeting prospective members or be involved in supporting the admissions and registration of groups within a large theatre. Some workshop coordinators are performing artists and may present the course leading the members in acting, movement, dance and self expression. Others are theatre administrators who provide administration for the course around registration, room hire, course fees, arranging catering and other general administration duties for the theatre.
